Permissions Used

• READ_PHONE_STATE: Used only to detect incoming calls and auto-pause playback. No data is collected or shared.
• RECORD_AUDIO: Used only for on-device audio processing when explicitly activated by the user. Audio is processed locally in real time and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted. The microphone is released immediately when the feature is no longer in use.
• INTERNET: Used only when fetching news articles (on user request). Downloaded content is processed locally and never transmitted.

Offline Operation

Most features work completely offline without internet access. Character training, word training, QSO simulations, and all game modes require no network connection.

Data Storage

• User settings (WPM, volume, etc.) are stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences. No sync to cloud.
• Game scores and history are stored locally only and never leave your device.

Analytics

In-App Analytics (Firebase / Google Analytics)

The app uses Firebase Analytics (Google LLC) to collect anonymous usage statistics. This helps us understand which features are used so we can improve the app. The following information is collected:

• Screen views (which training modes and screens are visited)
• Session duration and app open events
• Anonymous user properties reflecting your current settings, such as whether TTS, HCB, Farnsworth timing, QRM/QRN simulation, or high-speed training are enabled, and your WPM speed range
• Device information provided automatically by Firebase: OS version, device model, and country (derived from IP address, not stored)

No personal data is included. Analytics data is associated with an anonymous app instance identifier generated by Firebase and is never linked to your name, email address, or any other identifying information.

Firebase Analytics data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can opt out of analytics collection on your Android device via Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.

Website Analytics & Cookies
